“In early June of 1994 I started having a lot of blood in my mucus. Sometime later I went to see Dr. Neely in Gallatin, MO. He sent me to Cameron hospital to take some chest x-rays. In January of 2005 I had what was supposed to be a simple microscopic surgery on my ankle. However, within a week I was hospitalized with blood clots in both lungs. “A little history. My dad and 2 brothers suffered with coronary artery disease, my dad and older brother had bypass surgery and my brother nearest to me in age died, he refused surgery, he was 68. So I guessed it was a matter of time and I would suffer the same fate. The year 2005 I noticed I had no color in my face, I was gray. The winters when I was out in the cold, my hands would turn blue.
